Our Instructors

Instructor Rivera

Instructor Rivera began his career by serving 10 years in the U.S. Army where he was a C.B.R.N. Specialist. He then spent 10 years as a Police Officer where he worked as an undercover narcotics agent, S.W.A.T. sniper, and K-9 Officer. Instructor Rivera took his talents overseas as a private military contractor. His expertise of instruction is in surveillance techniques, defensive tactics, dynamic and static entry, interview techniques, less lethal munitions, defensive driving, and tactical firearms.

Rick Rozmus

Instructor Rozmus currently is a Sergeant in the Florida Department of Corrections. In 6 years of service, he has become one of the top instructors in defensive tactics, extraction techniques, and firearms.

Miguel Mercado

Instructor Mercado spent 11 years with the U.S. Army where he served multiple tours in Afghanistan. He than became a private military contractor where he spent 5 years instructing all over Africa.

Danny Harrison

Instructor Harrison came to us from the world of MMA. He is a skilled ground tactics instructor that has instructed many agencies in the U.S. He is the lead instructor in BEA’s defensive tactics courses.

Instructor Garcia is a Major in the Florida Department of Corrections. With 8 years of experience, he has taken his career where most would not reach. His expertise in instruction is in dynamic.

A: After registration, please allow 24 to 72 hours for the processing of the background check. Once cleared, you can begin the pre-licensing course, dedicating a minimum of 10 hours to explore its insightful modules. Upon meeting this requirement, you’ll unlock the final exam, with unlimited attempts to successfully pass. Once accomplished, you gain access to create your official agent ID card and badge. The culmination of this journey includes a certification of completion, a testament to your commitment and proficiency in the field of bail enforcement.

Q2: What are the prerequisites for enrolling in the pre-licensing course?

A: There are no specific prerequisites for enrolling in our pre-licensing course. It is designed to cater to individuals from various backgrounds interested in pursuing a career in bail enforcement. However, we are unable to offer the opportunity to individuals who have felonies established on their records, if they proceed to take the background check with a felony on their record, the background check issued will be nonrefundable.

Q3: How long does it take to complete the pre-licensing course?

A: The duration of the pre-licensing course varies, but on average, participants complete it within a few weeks. However, there must be a minimum of 10 hours spent studying the material in order to move forward with the exam. The self-paced nature allows flexibility to accommodate individual learning styles and schedules.

Q4: Is there a final exam at the end of the pre-licensing course?

A: Yes, there is a comprehensive final exam that assesses your understanding of the course material. Successful completion of this exam is a requirement for obtaining the agent identification card and badge.

Q5: Can I access the course materials after completing the pre-licensing course?

A: Yes, participants have continued access to course materials even after completing the pre-licensing course. This serves as a valuable resource for ongoing reference and skill enhancement.
